Guizhou

There is much to discover in this mountainous province. Often upstaged by its better-known neighbor Guangxi we highly rate this trip to escape the tourists and get into the mountains of China.
Guiyang’s Mountain Park
In the first episode of a new series from Guizhou, China, DJ and Jack arrive in the provincial capital Guiyang and set off on a mountain walk within the city. Much to their surprise they discover a challenging 10 km walk full of fascinating distractions along the way.
Biking the Chishui

Taking to the River
In this episode Jack and DJ park their bikes and get on the river, kayaking 6 km down to the old town of Bing An. Jack gets his own back on DJ by making him abseil down a bridge. There’s also a museum visit to get a sense of what took place here during the Long March.
The Waterfall

Off-piste at Chishui
In the last in their Guizhou series, DJ and Jack start on the Chishui River where they find rapids a little too strong for them. After drying off, they hop on motorbike taxis to go inland away from the crowds where they find more waterfalls and a charming little village.
