There is much to discover in this mountainous province. Often upstaged by its better-known neighbor Guangxi we highly rate this trip to escape the tourists and get into the mountains of China.

Guiyang’s Mountain Park

This walk is an extensive hike and exploration of Qianling Hill Park, a massive, over-a-thousand-acre mountain park located directly within the center of Guiyang. This urban trek is a multi-hour endeavor that involves climbing a series of peaks, often navigating many steps, along the park’s various edges.

Biking the Chishui

This bike ride centers around a long-distance cycling excursion along the Chishui River in Guizhou, China. This well-developed cycling route spans approximately 154 kilometers in total, featuring a paved red track that follows the river valley.

Kayaking the Chishui River

The activity centers around a scenic river kayaking excursion covering approximately six kilometers downstream. Participants don life jackets and navigate the smooth waters, accompanied by qualified instructors for safety, especially when encountering occasional rapids.

The Rock Buddha Waterfall

This hike features a combination of cycling along a designated trail and hiking through a scenic natural park. The cycling portion takes place on a well-maintained red track that spans 154 kilometers, with lodges and bike rental stations positioned every 10 kilometers.

Off Piste at Chishui

The activity begins with a dynamic water adventure involving a kayak trip down a six-kilometer stretch of white water on the river. This section includes navigating through strong currents and negotiating small rapids, accompanied by safety instructors.
