This one starts with a steep climb 600m up to Castle Peak. Be sure to check the firing range times before you set off as you won’t be allowed in if they have are doing a live fire drill. Once up Castle Peak you follow a trail down to Sze Tsz Tao where the trail spills out into a desert like landscape. Possibly the highlight of the hike is Pineapple Mountain also known as the Grand Canyon of Hong Kong.
