The Peak
There are plenty of things to do and see on this hike and best of all it’s downhill most of the way. The walks starts with a ride up on the old tram after which you put in the only climb of the day up to the Peak where the real walking starts.
Meander through the Victorian gardens along Governor’s Walk before a circuit of the peak along Lugard road. After a stop at the Peak tower for ice cream and waky sweets, then continue down the steep Old Peak Road to the botanical gardens where you can spend time with animals of all kinds. The walk finishes in the amazing playgrounds of Hong Kong Park, keeping the kids entertained to the very end.

- Go along Lugard road all the way back round to the Peak Tower taking in some of the best views in all Hong Kong.
- Look for the steps down to the side of the Peak Tower to get onto the Old Peak Road which takes you down to Central. Be sure to stop off at the Barker Road Tram station for a better look at this classic station with great view of the harbor below.
- Once at the bottom of the Old Peak Road cross Robinson road to enter the Botanical Gardens and slowly make your way down stopping to look at the birds, animals and flowers as you pass.
