Tai Mo Shan: Ho Pui to Tin Man
We’re up in Tai Mo Shan Country Park to take on the big daddy of bike trail networks (known as Tai Mo Sha or TMS to local bikers) the route starts off on the Ho Pui bike trail for a flowy descent over moderately technical terrain followed by an epic decent along Tin Fu Tsai aka Tin Man.

Lamma Island Bike Trails
With its ever-evolving homegrown bike trails, Lamma has long been a sort of ‘mecca’ for mountain bikers. While the individual trails themselves are relatively short, their interconnectedness presents riders with longer routes.

Chi Ma Wan Bike Trail
For lovers of enduro riding who enjoy a technical challenge, Chi Ma Wan Bike Trail is way up on the ‘must ride’ list. The off-road section takes a circular route around the Chi Ma Wan Peninsular and is considered moderate to highly technical, but if your skills are up to scratch and you fancy a challenge, you’ll find this one a real thirst-quencher.

Biking High Junk Peak
This 6-kilometer route is one of those short but sweet trails worth riding at least once. Packed with mountain biking goodness, it starts with strenuous climbing, continues with fun technical sections dotted here and there, throws in a downhill stairs section, and culminates in a fun descent at the end.

Tai Lam Chung Cross Country Ride
An 18-kilometer route that’s a perfect blend of road and off-road cross-country riding. Entering the park, we pass the prison and make our way up to the park’s enormous reservoir and cross it before we begin our 6.3-kilometer road ride along some lovely smooth asphalt. Climbing and descending as we go, some great views across the reservoir are seen.

Biking Across Dragon’s Back
Another short but sweet technical trail worth riding at least once and in both directions! Like High Junk Peak, this 5.1-kilometer route is full of mountain biking goodness. Technical challenges abound, and many will test your skills; some rock gardens might even have you carrying your bike.
